Animal Welfare & Management Lecturer•    Annual Salary: £28,056 - £34,492•    Location: Northampton•    Job Type: Full-time (37 hours per week)

We are seeking a dedicated Animal Welfare & Management Lecturer to join our client’s team. This role involves teaching, training, and managing courses related to Animal Welfare, ensuring high-quality standards that meet the college's objectives.

Day-to-day of the role:•    Teach students attending full-time, part-time, and short courses as directed.•    Act as a course tutor, handling the associated organisation, administration, and monitoring of student attendance and performance.•    Undertake placement visits and maintain records of student achievements.•    Counsel students and maintain discipline within the classroom.•    Participate in student recruitment activities, including attending Shows and Careers Conventions.•    Engage in curriculum development to align with changing industry demands and college growth.•    Conduct demonstrations and practical activities with students across all courses.•    Participate in internal verification, auditing, and other quality monitoring processes to ensure excellence in service and attention to all learners.•    Assist in the maintenance and development of resources and commercial activities.•    Promote and adhere to the college’s Safeguarding, Health & Safety Policies, and Procedures.•    Manage student conduct in accordance with college policies and actively promote welfare, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Proven experience in teaching and managing Animal Welfare courses.•    Strong organisational and administrative skills.•    Ability to engage and inspire students.•    Commitment to continuous professional development and quality standards.•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.•    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
