About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of History to join their team from September 2026 to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Role: Teacher of HistoryAs a Teacher of History, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons, encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of historical events and contexts.
In addition to History, you will also contribute to the delivery of PSHE and RE, supporting students’ personal development, wellbeing, and understanding of diverse perspectives.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and a consistent, supportive learning experience for all students.
