Project Assistant

Job Description

A valuable opportunity has arisen for a Project Assistant to support our project delivery team on a complex, high-value project. This role will play a key part in ensuring project documentation and coordination activities are delivered to a high standard.\n\nThis is a part-time position (20 hours per week) with a hybrid working pattern. Initially, the successful candidate will work three days per week in the office, with greater flexibility available once the team is fully established.

The role is offered on an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension.\n\nLocation\n\nExchange Quay, Salford, M5 3EP\nEasily accessible by tram and public transport\nFree parking available\n\nReporting to\n\nProject Manager\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProject Documentation\n\nPreparing and issuing project documentation to clients\nMaintaining comment response sheets and consolidating client feedback\nTracking incoming and outgoing project documentation\nCreating document cover sheets in line with project requirements\nExpediting customer and supplier documentation and responses\nManaging and coordinating comment response sheets\nAttending client and supplier meetings, recording actions, and following up\n\nProject Controls Support\n\nSupporting schedule updates and maintaining project tracking information\nAssisting with project coordination and compliance activities\nSupporting client engagement and communication processes\n\nThe Successful Candidate Will:\n\nBe proficient in Microsoft Office 365\nHave strong Excel skills\nBe an experienced SharePoint user\nDemonstrate strong administrative and coordination capabilities\nBe able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team\nHave excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear progress updates and follow up on overdue actions\nBe capable of managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines\nDemonstrate excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with complex document referencing systems\nBe a quick learner with strong organisational and pattern-recognition skills\n\nDesirable Skills\n\nExperience using document management systems\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Project\nPrevious experience in project support, administration, compliance, or coordination rolesWe are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who can support project delivery through effective document control, coordination, and stakeholder communication.\n\nAdecco is a disability confident employer.
